About the Role

Adhoc Designs Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Maker / Installer to join our growing team. We create and deliver bespoke architectural commissions, meaning no two projects are the same.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving technical challenges, and producing exceptional work. From fabrication in the workshop to installation on-site, you'll be involved in creating unique architectural features that push the boundaries of design and craftsmanship.

We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety. Whether your background is in fabrication, joinery, carpentry, or specialist construction work, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble bespoke components to precise specifications.
• Install bespoke architectural features on-site to the highest standard of finish.
• Work confidently with a variety of materials to create one-off, custom-built pieces.
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing information accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
• Uphold quality standards throughout every stage of fabrication and installation.

About You

You'll be someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys tackling varied and challenging projects.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or a similar hands-on trade.
• Competent in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements within workshop and site environments.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions.

Desirable

• Experience working across multiple construction or manufacturing disciplines.
• Previous involvement in bespoke, architectural, or specialist construction projects.
• Installation and site experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
