Experienced Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical components, in a fast-paced environment that values technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and overhaul various mechanical systems such as diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension components, shocks & struts, brakes, and wheel alignments.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire service, wheel balancing, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and providing maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a mechanic within the automotive repair industry or dealership environment.
• Familiarity with automotive suspension system repair—including shocks & struts—and alignment procedures.
• Skilled in using schematics for diagnostics and repairs on GM vehicles or similar brands.
• Experience working with transmissions—manual or automatic—and performing transmission repairs or replacements.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical repair techniques utilizing hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per week
