Experienced MIXOLOGISTS/BAR STAFF/DUTY MANAGERS

Shifts available today!! We are seeking experienced Bar Staff, Mixologists and Duty Managers to join our dynamic team in Auckland CBD. We can offer you casual positions and flexibility, whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and beverage service. Whether you're experienced in fast-paced venues, premium cocktail bars or large-scale events, we want to hear from you. This role is critical to delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining smooth operations across our venues and function spaces.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wines and beers with precision and flair
• Providing exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
• Managing bar operations including stock rotation, cash handling and till reconciliation
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Taking orders efficiently and accurately, processing payments and handling multiple customers simultaneously
• Assisting with event setup and breakdown when required
• Supporting junior staff and assisting with training on bar procedures and service standards
• Monitoring customer behaviour and ensuring responsible service of alcohol
• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during busy service periods

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a bartender, bar staff, mixologist or duty manager in hospitality venues
• Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, mixing techniques and classic and contemporary recipes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during peak service times
• Sound understanding of responsible service of alcohol practices and health and safety regulations
• Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale systems
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
• Experience in a supervisory or duty manager capacity is advantageous
