About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced operator or general operator to join our team.

You’ll operate machinery across a variety of civil construction and earthworks projects throughout the Southern Lakes region. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside our experienced operators and drainage crews.

Key responsibilities

• Excavator operation and daily maintenance
• General earthworks and site preparation
• Basic rock work and building
• Assisting with pipe laying and drainage
• Raking, finishing, and general site work
• Shovel and manual labour work as required
• Supporting the wider team to keep projects running efficiently

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in civil construction, earthworks, or machinery operation
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Confident operating machinery
• Able to work safely and independently
• A good communicator who takes pride in their work
• Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards
• Holds a clean and current driver licence
• WTR endorsements and relevant machinery experience are an advantage
