Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and efficiently take their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Serve food and beverages accurately, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that exceeds expectations
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety protocols
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating strong guest services skills
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash transactions
• Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus, supporting seamless restaurant operations
