Experienced Pest Control Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, applying appropriate pest control treatments, and providing professional advice to customers. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of pest control methods, safety procedures, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect residential, commercial, and industrial properties for signs of pest activity.
• Identify pests, infestation levels, and potential entry points or contributing factors.
• Carry out pest control treatments using approved chemicals, equipment, and methods.
• Apply pesticides safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and local regulations.
• Handle common pests such as cockroaches, ants, rodents, termites, bed bugs, flies, mosquitoes, and other insects.
• Install and monitor traps, bait stations, and other pest management systems.
• Conduct follow-up inspections and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate service records, treatment reports, and chemical usage records.
• Explain treatment procedures and safety precautions clearly to customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment, vehicles, and protective clothing in good working condition.
• Follow all company health, safety, environmental, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Identify opportunities for preventive pest management and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pest Control Technician.
• Good knowledge of pest identification, control methods, and treatment procedures.
• Relevant pest control certification or license, where required.
• Knowledge of safe pesticide handling and application.
• Ability to use pest control equipment and protective gear correctly.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in different environments, including confined spaces and outdoor areas.
• Valid driving license is an advantage/requirement, depending on company needs.
• Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of professional pest control experience.
• Experience in residential and commercial pest management.
• Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
• Relevant local authority or industry certification.
• Experience with digital service reports and customer management systems.

Working Conditions

The technician may be required to work indoors and outdoors, including residential properties, offices, restaurants, warehouses, hotels, and other commercial premises. The role may involve working at heights, in confined areas, and during flexible or emergency service hours.

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,600.00 per month
