Experienced Pizza Cook

Harris Pizza, a Quad Cities legend for over 65 years, is hiring a dedicated and Experienced Pizza Cook to join our iconic team. As a Harris Pizza Cook, you are at the heart of our operation, responsible for crafting the legendary pizzas our customers have loved for generations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Quality & Consistency: Precisely follow our original recipes for dough, sauce, and pizza assembly with expert consistency.
• Equipment Operation: Operate high-capacity pizza ovens and commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Line Management: Manage the pizza line during peak hours to ensure fast, accurate, and high-quality service under pressure.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times, adhering to all health codes.
• Inventory: Monitor ingredient inventory for the pizza line and communicate needs effectively to management.
• Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs (such as flour bags or prep containers) and comfortably stand for 8-hour shifts.

This is the Right Job for You If You Have:

• A Proven & Stable Work History: 1 to 2 years of previous experience as a Pizza Cook or Line Cook in a fast-paced, made-to-order restaurant is required. (Note: We will check professional references).
• An Unbeatable Work Ethic: You are punctual, reliable, and someone your team can always count on.
• A Strong Desire to Work & Learn: You bring a positive attitude, are coachable, and are eager to master the legendary Harris Pizza methods.
• Logistical Reliability: A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle are required to ensure you can get to shifts consistently.
• Flexibility: You are willing and able to provide shift coverage at our other locations (including Davenport, Bettendorf, and Rock Island) when operational needs require it.
