Experienced Plastic Extrusion Operator / Setup Operator – All Shifts

If you can change a die, dial in a profile and chase down a defect without waiting for a supervisor, we want to talk. Northland Plastics is a family-owned custom profile extruder in Sheboygan (since 1953, ~40 people) running ABS and PVC lines on 8-hour shifts for medical, automotive and industrial customers.

What you'll own

• Line startups, die and tooling changes, and process dial-in (temperatures, screw speed, line speed, vacuum calibration)
• Holding dimensional and cosmetic spec; troubleshooting die lines, warp, surface and sizing issues
• First-piece checks with calipers, gauges and comparator; documenting process settings
• Coaching entry-level operators on your line

What you bring

• 2+ years running plastic extrusion — profile preferred, pipe/tubing/sheet welcome
• Hands-on setup experience: you've done die changes and process adjustments yourself, not just watched
• Solid measurement and print-reading skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for the shift

Schedule and pay

• 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday. 1st shift 7 AM–3 PM, 2nd shift 3 PM–11 PM; 3rd shift 11 PM–7 AM runs Sunday night through Friday morning. Occasional overtime.
• $26–$31/hour based on demonstrated setup skill

• Small plant, in-house toolroom, direct access to owners and engineers — your process fixes actually get built
