Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and venting in residential and commercial buildings
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and prevent future problems
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols
• Perform plumbing system inspections, troubleshoot issues with water systems, and recommend appropriate solutions
• Assist with remodeling projects or construction site tasks that require plumbing expertise or handyman skills

Skills

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings
• Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
• Skilled in drain cleaning methods and using related equipment effectively
• Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading tools, and schematics for troubleshooting complex systems
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations governing plumbing work
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as power tools, hand tools, and construction site equipment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repairs or maintenance needs
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical specifications
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required on construction sites or remodeling projects
• Handyman experience or assembly skills beneficial for versatile project support
