Experienced Pool Construction Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced, *HANDS-ON*, Pool Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee all aspects of residential and commercial pool projects from inception to completion. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in pool & spa construction, site supervision and management, and technical expertise in pool building. As a team leader, you will ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive project success and foster a culture of excellence. You will be working alongside our current Supervisor for the first few months to learn what is expected of this position and how our company operates. The current Supervisor will then be relocating to open our new location in central Florida, at which time you will take over as the Supervisor for our south Florida location.

Duties

• Supervise and participate in daily construction activities on pool sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track progress and milestones.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide construction teams.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets design specifications and industry standards.
• Manage project costs by reviewing contracts and implementing effective cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards through regular site inspections and lead bi-weekly safety meetings with our staff.
• Familiar with the use of construction management software such as ProCore for documentation, reporting, and communication during projects.
• Lead supervising efforts by mentoring team members, resolving on-site issues promptly, and maintaining high team morale.
• Perform routine testing with tools to verify electrical system integrity within pools.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, change orders, safety incidents, and quality control reports.
• Meet with potential and existing clients, architects, inspectors, and subcontractors, etc.
• Must be able to do take-offs on plans to ensure ACCURATE materials/equipment are delivered to the jobsites and it is extremely helpful if you can do full estimates.
• Ability to fully read and understand plans/permitting as you will be visiting sites to ensure the pool is being built as per approved plans
• Coordinate schedules with employees and subcontractors to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising pool construction projects.
• Must be able to self-perform front end work - form, steel, layout, plumbing etc.
• Knowledge of construction management tools like ProCore.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and the ability to enforce safety protocols.
• Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
• Ability to read drawings accurately and translate them into actionable work plans.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• English communication is a must, highly prefer bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese).

Pay is commensurate with experience, within the starting range that is posted.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
