Experienced Post Construction Cleaner

Job Summary

Green Turtle Construction Cleaning is seeking dependable construction cleaners to support our project in Mobile, Alabama. Team members will help prepare the facility for inspections and turnover by performing rough, final, and touch-up cleaning as construction progresses. Duties may include removing construction dust and debris, cleaning floors, surfaces, restrooms, glass, and common areas, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. We’re looking for people who are reliable, detail-oriented, able to work as part of a team, and comfortable working in an active construction environment. Professionalism, attention to quality, and the ability to follow safety procedures are essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include completing rough, final, and touch-up cleaning throughout the project in Mobile, Alabama as construction progresses. During rough cleaning, remove accumulated dust, packaging, scraps, and other jobsite debris from assigned areas, keeping walkways and workspaces orderly. For final and touch-up cleaning, carefully clean floors, baseboards, walls, doors, frames, interior glass, fixtures, restrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas, removing dust, fingerprints, labels, and other surface residue using methods appropriate for each material. Protect finished surfaces from damage; use cleaning products and equipment as directed; and promptly report damage, stubborn residue, safety concerns, or areas needing attention. Follow site access rules, project specifications, and safety procedures; coordinate work with the supervisor and other trades; and complete assigned areas to the required quality standard and schedule to support inspections and project turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-construction, commercial, janitorial, or custodial cleaning
• Practical knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation, floor care, window cleaning, and cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting up to 40lbs, and to use PPE correctly
• Safe approach to chemical handling; pressure washing experience is an asset
• Reliable, detail-focused, and able to provide courteous customer service while following site procedures and instructions.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
