Sovereign Off-Road is looking for an experienced Senior Powersports Technician to join our growing service department.

We're looking for an A-level technician or a very strong B-level technician with real professional experience working on ATVs, UTVs, and side-by-sides.

This is not an entry-level position or a hobby-mechanic position.

We care just as much about who you are as we do what you can fix.

We're looking for someone who is highly competent, takes pride in their work, has strong character, is honest when they don't know something, takes ownership of mistakes, and fits a culture built around treating people the right way.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on ATVs, UTVs, and side-by-sides
• Perform engine, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, cooling, and electrical repairs
• Handle major and complex repairs independently
• Inspect and recondition pre-owned units for retail
• Identify problems others may overlook
• Accurately determine needed parts and labor
• Document findings and repairs clearly
• Perform quality-control inspections
• Verify repairs before units leave the shop
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Help solve difficult diagnostic problems within the shop

We primarily work on major powersports brands including Polaris, Can-Am, Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha.

Who We're Looking For

Technical ability matters, but character is non-negotiable.

You should be someone who:

• Has substantial professional powersports or closely related technician experience
• Is strong in diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Understands electrical diagnosis — not just parts replacement
• Can perform major mechanical repairs independently
• Takes care of customer and company equipment
• Produces clean, professional work
• Takes ownership instead of making excuses
• Is honest about mistakes and things you don't know
• Is teachable and willing to learn
• Works hard without needing someone constantly pushing you
• Can be trusted to do the right thing when nobody is watching
• Treats coworkers and customers with respect
• Wants to be part of a strong team rather than simply collect a paycheck

We would rather hire someone with great character, strong fundamentals, and the ability to keep growing than an extremely talented technician who doesn't fit our culture.
