About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Profiling Machine Operator to join our team based at our Maddington depot.

You will be responsible for operating Wirtgen road profiling machines across a variety of civil and road construction projects throughout Perth Metro and Regional WA.

This is a hands-on role suited to an operator who understands the demands of road profiling, can work effectively with site crews and takes pride in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality results. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Wirtgen road profiling machines (including 2m profilers and the W 35Ri Pocket Rocket) to required depths, levels and specifications

• Complete pre-start inspections and assist with routine maintenance – taking ownership of equipment condition

• Coordinate daily operations with foremen, supervisors, truck drivers and the Delivery Manager

• Follow all site instructions, SWMS and WHS requirements – identifying and reporting hazards, defects and changing site conditions

• Commence shifts from our Maddington depot, with travel to regional locations as required

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience operating road profiling machines; Wirtgen 2m and/or Pocket Rocket experience highly regarded

• Strong understanding of road construction, profiling operations and WHS requirements

• Minimum HR licence; HC desirable – current White Card required

• Ability to work days, nights and weekends, including regional work when required

• Reliable, solutions-focused and committed to quality workmanship

• Full Australian working rights

• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening, with ongoing compliance required
