EXPERIENCED QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible QS to join our project team in Johor Bahru. Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin are highly encouraged to apply!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BQ), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders (VO), and project cost monitoring.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with subcontractor payment evaluations and cost comparisons.
• Monitor project budgets and maintain accurate QS documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Perform other QS-related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• Familiar with BQ preparation, progress claims, variation orders, and cost control.
• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work on-site in Johor Bahru.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage for communication with Chinese-speaking colleagues and project stakeholders.

WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS

• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 1.5 hours
• Working Days: 6 days per week
• Annual Leave: 12 days per year
• Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
