Duties

• Strong technical skills
• Assist with exams and treatments
• Previous experience with induction, monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery
• Performing canine and feline dental cleanings
• Collecting lab samples and running diagnostics
• Performing radiographs
• Administering medications and treatments
• Educating clients on pet care and medications
• Supporting doctors and mentoring support staff
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality animal care and client satisfaction
• A willingness to learn new skills

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Current CA Registered Veterinary Technician License or enrolled in a specific RVT course.
• REQUIRED: Minimum of 3 consecutive years of employment with the same veterinary hospital/employer in a VA or RVT role. This must be clearly demonstrated on the applicant’s resume.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to multi-task while still maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using office equipment and veterinary software systems is advantageous.
• A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing outstanding client and patient service.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish/Vietnamese/Korean) is a plus.

Pay

• Depending on experience: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
