Nonno’s Kitchen is looking for an experienced restaurant cook to join our growing team. We’re a busy, family-owned Italian kitchen looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and understands what it takes to keep a kitchen running smoothly.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a restaurant kitchen
• Italian cuisine experience is a strong plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and food-safety procedures
• Must be able to maintain consistency and quality during busy services

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently
• Fulfill tickets while maintaining quality, presentation, and consistency
• Complete daily food prep and keep stations properly stocked
• Assist other cooks and kitchen team members when needed
• When not actively working on tickets, prep ingredients, clean, organize, restock, and assist with overall kitchen operations
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
• Help ensure the kitchen is prepared for upcoming shifts and high-volume periods
• Work together as a team to keep service running smoothly
