Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and support sanitation protocols to uphold hygiene standards
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other cashiering tools
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to coordinate service flow during busy hours

Requirements

• Prior restaurant experience or food service background; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles preferred but not required
• Capable of standing for extended periods and working flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay: $4.00 - $4.50 per hour
