Experienced Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of responding to incidents, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing security protocols effectively.

Duties

• Monitor premises through CCTV and other surveillance equipment to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations to maintain peace and order.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting or investigations.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as required.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Skills

• Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
• Certified in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in security, law enforcement or Corrections are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Security: 3 years (Required)
• Corrections: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• 120 Hour Private Security Certification (Preferred)
