Overview:
LaPluma Coffee and Wine is seeking a well seasoned, dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team! The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and passionate about providing an elevated guest experience, whether it’s a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

This role involves creating a warm and welcoming experience for all guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining a clean work space. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to multitask are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver orders promptly with attention to presentation and service standards
• Operate the TOAST POS system for order entry and cash/card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Upsell menu items and make thoughtful recommendations to guests
• Assist fellow team members during busy shifts to ensure consistent quality service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a server or food service role required. 2+years.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Able to work evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with POS systems (TOAST preferred)
• Must be 21+ (due to wine service)
