Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while handling cash accurately and balancing registers at shift end
• Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert advice to guests
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and storage
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to foster repeat business

Experience

• Proven food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining or nightclub exposure
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages, spirits, wine, and menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in cocktail preparation, beverage service, or spirits knowledge is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities

Pay: $17.27 - $75.00 per hour
