Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Experienced Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as SkyTab POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations
• Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills, ensuring all guests receive attentive service throughout their visit
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and provide correct change or receipts
• Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques to assist guests in making informed choices
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, assisting with food preparation when needed, and ensuring a clean dining environment at all times
• Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to health regulations
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction at every touchpoint

Experience

• Proven food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining or nightclub background
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as SkyTab POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items including beverages, spirits, wines, and desserts to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to engage guests effectively
• Experience with cocktail mixing, beverage service, wine knowledge, and spirits handling
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management skills
• Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is advantageous but not required
