Experienced Server

Position Summary

Corkscrew at Rockbrook is seeking experienced servers for 3-5 shifts per week. Shifts start at 3 or 4pm depending on the day. We cannot accommodate other schedules.

We are a casual, guest-focused environment, with a coffee shop-meets-wine vibe. We run large sections (8+ tables) and are looking for staff who can keep up with service. We offer a full food menu to complement our 20+ wines by the glass. Wine knowledge is a plus but also part of on-the-job training. Wine interest is required!

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, explain our story and educate customers on our wine selection and food options
• Place customer’s orders, serve drinks and food to customers
• Communicate with bar lead and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Resolve customer request and issues, escalating to the bar lead or management as needed
• Bus tables, clean tables and chairs for the next customers
• Sell additional wine and products for retail purchases
• Complete cleaning tasks during the downtime
• Closing the store which includes cleaning and dishes

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a server
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the restaurant organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
