Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations when needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to food safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience as a server in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings with a strong knowledge of food service procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing excellent customer service
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and cash handling tasks
