Experienced Server | Bartender

Job Summary

Dosan Social Eatery is hiring an experienced server to join our dining room team. We serve New American food with international influences in a setting built for dinners, celebrations, and private events. We’re looking for someone who is warm with guests, confident with a full-service menu, and comfortable working during busy shifts.

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue.
• Process all sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; handle food safely during preparation and serving.
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing special requests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food presentation and timing for a seamless dining experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant, fine dining establishment, nightclub, or similar food industry setting.
• Demonstrated cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine pairing, and beverage service techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong skills in upselling, sales transaction processing, cash handling, and math for accurate billing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations quickly and effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and basic food preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in fine dining or nightlife venues is preferred; hospitality background is highly valued.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
