Experienced Service Plumber

Mr. Swirl the Friendly Plumber has been serving the Lower Mainland for over 25 years, and we are looking for an experienced Service Plumber to join our team.

This is a service plumbing position. Applicants with construction-only plumbing experience are not a fit for this role. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of plumbing experience and hands-on service experience who is comfortable diagnosing problems, communicating with customers, presenting repair options, and completing service calls independently.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years plumbing experience
• Previous service plumbing experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable working independently in customers’ homes and commercial properties
• Experience with plumbing repairs, fixtures, hot water systems and drainage
• Experience using augers, jetters and drain cameras is an asset
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to explain repair options clearly to customers
• Organized and able to complete job notes, photos and required paperwork
• Valid BC driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Able to participate in an on-call rotation
• Physically capable of lifting and moving plumbing equipment
• Fluent in English
• Criminal record check required upon employment

Red Seal certification is an asset, but experienced apprentices with strong service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

We are specifically looking for plumbers with service experience. Construction-only experience will not be sufficient for this position.

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications and service ability.

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
