Experienced Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master/Senior Service Technician to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, safety, and reliability in every vehicle you work on. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and overhaul various mechanical systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and air brake inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively.
• Work with dealership-specific protocols and maintain high standards of customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and completed work.
• Stay current with industry advancements such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive electrical systems, and new repair techniques to continually enhance skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in an automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or similar environments.
• Extensive knowledge of engine repair, transmissions, powertrain components, and mechanical systems repair.
• Strong familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, air brake systems, and suspension repairs.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of Mazda vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid certifications in automotive repair or relevant technical training are highly desirable.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
