Experienced Service Technician

SunSouth, Andalusia, AL , is currently seeking an experienced Service Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training Programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures. JD Gator experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment. Minimum of 1-2 years experience required.
• Ability to use Service Advisor.
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma / GED required. Basic Service Technician Certification preferred.
• Associates Degree a plus as well as Forklift Certification.
• 3 years' proven experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to work extended hours and weekend.
• Valid driver's license / clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
