Experienced Sewing Machine Operator

Southern Shades Design is a custom workroom specializing in window treatments, drapery, custom pillows, cushions, bedding, and bath accessories.

We are currently hiring for an experienced industrial sewing machine operator who is detailed, and productivity minded.

Applicant MUST be able to:

• Operate an industrial sewing machine.
• Read a work order and follow exact instructions.
• Work well with others and or independently in an open workroom.
• Stand and or sit for periods of time by moving from sewing machine to work table.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience operating an industrial sewing machine.
• Basic knowledge of sewing and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills – must understand English.

Work hours are from 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Salary is dependent on experience and skill level.
