About the role
Coombes Sheetmetal and Fabrication is a well-established and respected sheet metal manufacturer operating in a modern and updated environment. Located centrally in Blenheim Road.
About the job
We work with all metal types, primarily light fabrication and welding. Much of our work is one-off jobbing, although we also work with larger projects.
We have a well-equipped workshop, including laser cutter and welders, enabling many projects to be completed entirely in-house. If you are looking to build your repertoire and experience, we are looking for you!
What we are looking for (must have)
NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
Light fabricating trade qualified with proven experience
Be able to read and interpret drawings
Enthusiastic and team player
Be health and safety compliant
What we have to offer
- $35–$40/hr dependent on experience
- 40 hours per week, permanent role
- Factory hours 7:30am–4.00pm, Monday to Friday
- Ongoing training with experienced staff
