Experienced Shift Supervisor

• About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Shift Supervisor to join our team at a busy licensed premises in North Lanarkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has the confidence and leadership skills to supervise a team.

Working closely with the management team, you will play an important role in the smooth running of the venue, particularly during busy periods and evening service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the front-of-house team during shifts
• Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere
• Allocate staff duties and co-ordinate the floor effectively
• Monitor service standards and address any issues promptly
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Support the management team with the day-to-day running of the premises
• Ensure licensing, health & safety and company procedures are followed
• Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer care
• Deal confidently and professionally with customer queries or complaints
• Monitor and ensure licensing requirements are adhered to
• Support staff training and development
• Lead by example and motivate the team during busy periods

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in hospitality, licensed premises or a similar environment
• Confident supervising and motivating a team
• Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
• Organised and able to remain calm under pressure
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and busy periods
• Reliable, professional and able to take responsibility
• Confident dealing with customers and staff
• Knowledgeable about responsible alcohol service and licensing requirements

Previous supervisory experience within a licensed premises is highly desirable, although we will consider candidates with strong hospitality experience who are ready to take the next step in their career.
