We are seeking an Experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting small engines and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of diagnosing issues accurately and performing repairs efficiently to ensure optimal equipment performance. The successful applicant will play a vital role in providing high-quality service to our customers by leveraging their technical expertise in small engine repair and electrical diagnostics.

Part - Time. Can turn into full time depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on a variety of small engines and equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using appropriate diagnostic tools. (Possible)
• Repair electrical components and perform electrical diagnostics to resolve wiring or component failures. (Possible)
• Carry out engine repairs, including rebuilding or replacing parts as necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety for all team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or similar role with a strong understanding of small engine systems.
• Skilled in equipment repair, maintenance, engine repair, electrical work, welding and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or technical training in small engine repair is preferred but not mandatory.
• Having your own tools is preferred but not necessary

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
