Experienced Snow Removal Tractor Operator

Roots 2 Rocks Property Care is looking for an experienced, dependable tractor operator to join our winter snow removal team.

This position is specifically for operating our Kubota M5-111 tractor, equipped with a fully hydraulic HLA snow blade and a snow blower. This is a large tractor, and we need someone with the experience and confidence to operate it safely and effectively throughout the winter.

Previous experience operating large tractors is required. Applicants should have hands-on experience with a Kubota M5-111 or a comparable tractor, along with hydraulic snow blades and tractor-mounted snow blowers. General snow removal experience alone is not sufficient for this position.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating the tractor, hydraulic HLA blade and snow blower to clear snow at assigned properties.
• Driving the tractor on public roads between assigned properties, following traffic laws and operating safely around other road users.
• Working carefully around parked vehicles, buildings, curbs, entrances and pedestrians.
• Making sound decisions about snow placement and working efficiently through your assigned route.
• Completing equipment checks and promptly reporting damage, mechanical concerns or maintenance needs.
• Communicating with the team and responding reliably when called in for snow events.

Who we’re looking for:

• An experienced large-tractor operator who understands the machine’s size, clearance and attachment operation.
• Someone comfortable plowing and blowing snow in winter conditions, including darkness and reduced visibility.
• A careful operator who respects our equipment and our clients’ properties.
• Someone who can work independently, follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• A dependable person available for overnight, early morning, weekend and holiday work when weather requires it.

Availability during snow events is an essential requirement. Hours depend on weather and operational needs.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
