Barulho is an established, owner operated, Spanish inspired restaurant in lower Parnell.  We are open Tuesday - Friday lunch and dinner, and Saturday dinner

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic  and experienced service sous chef to complete our team.  We prep and cook everything from scratch, using Spanish and Latin American cooking techniques and cooking over charcoal.

Menus change often using fresh seasonal ingredients.

Skills and experience

You will be able to manage your section and run the kitchen service, ordering according to bookings,  be confident with service and have proven experience in a similar role.

You will have a passion for food, love working with great quality ingredients, interest in learning new cooking methods and working with new products, able to motivate kitchen team and work well with the restaurant team, calm and organised under pressure, able to meet targets, follow methods, recipes, checklists, and food control plan.
