Experienced STMS

About the role

An experienced STMS role in the Queenstown and Central Otago region, working across a variety of civil, infrastructure and construction works. You will run sites confidently, deal with clients and crews, and deliver quality traffic management. As the operation develops, there will be genuine opportunities to take on greater responsibility and progress toward operational and management roles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead crews and run sites confidently
• Interpret and implement TMPs
• Manage clients, contractors and communication with the public
• Deliver quality traffic management across changing site conditions
• Work days, nights and weekends when required
• Demonstrate a practical, safety-focused approach to site management

About you

• Current practising STMS qualification / competency
• Strong practical traffic management experience
• Good understanding of the Queenstown and wider Central Otago road environment
• Confidence leading crews and running sites
• Ability to interpret and implement TMPs
• Strong communication with clients, contractors and the public
• A practical, safety-focused approach to changing site conditions
• Full Class 1 driver's licence
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends when required
