Core Tile & Stone is a Phoenix-based custom tile and stone contractor specializing in high-end residential projects throughout Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and the surrounding Valley.

We work with builders and designers to create custom homes where quality, precision, and craftsmanship matter.

We are looking for an experienced Stone Fabricator who takes pride in their work, knows their craft, and wants to be part of a professional, hardworking team.

What You'll Do

• Fabricate and finish granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and other natural and engineered stone
• Perform precise sink cutouts and openings
• Fabricate mitered edges, beveled edges, custom profiles, laminated edges, and other custom details
• Polish, hone, leather, and finish stone to required specifications
• Work with 2cm, 3cm, and specialty-thickness materials
• Accurately measure, cut, fabricate, and finish pieces according to project requirements
• Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and project specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment including bridge saws, polishers, routers, hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other shop equipment
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, dimensions, and finish
• Communicate with the shop lead, installers, project managers, and fabrication team
• Problem-solve fabrication challenges and communicate potential issues before they become problems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop
• Load, secure, and safely transport finished stone pieces
• Drive a company truck and large trailer to job sites when needed
• Handle stone carefully and responsibly, understanding the value of the materials you are working with

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a skilled, dependable, trustworthy, and experienced fabricator who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship.

Required:

• Fluent in both Spanish and English — required
• Valid driver's license — required
• 5+ years of stone fabrication is preferred
• Strong understanding of stone fabrication and finishing
• Experience with natural and engineered stone
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and power tools
• Ability to read measurements, shop drawings, and project specifications
• Ability to safely lift and handle 80+ lbs
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while working effectively with the shop lead and fabrication team
• Willingness to take direction, ask questions, and communicate openly
• Willingness to take responsibility for your work and correct issues when necessary

We are looking for someone who can step into the shop, understand the work, and contribute without constant supervision — someone looking for longevity with the Core Tile team.

Competitive Pay

$20.00–$28.00+ per hour, based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability.

Highly skilled fabricators with advanced capabilities may qualify for compensation above the standard range.
