Duties

• Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and haircutting services using techniques such as balayage, highlights, and precision cuts
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales management
• Deliver personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable hair care products or services
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry regulations
• Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair treatments to enhance client results
• Mentor junior team members and assist with front desk duties including client communication and appointment management

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a stylist with a strong portfolio of work
• Proficiency with salon software systems such as SQUARE for scheduling and client management
• Skilled in hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles
• Expertise in hair styling, cutting, blowouts, and finishing techniques for diverse hair types
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and cosmetology licensing requirements
• Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math calculations
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration
