Are you an experienced Support Worker with a full UK driving licence?

Optimal Living is looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate Support Workers who drive to join our team at The Lanterns in Swindon.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this position, and previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments and enjoy social activities.
• Assist with personal care, medication and daily living tasks where required.
• Encourage independence, choice and the development of life skills.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, safe and compassionate support.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence – essential.
• Previous experience in a care or support worker role – highly desirable.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs would be an advantage.
• Confidence in supporting individuals to access the community.
• A reliable, flexible and proactive approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A genuine commitment to promoting dignity, independence and choice.
