We are seeking someone with current Dealership Experience and will ONLY consider someone for this position that is coming out of a dealership or independent repair facility with over 3 years of active experience.

We provide ALL necessary Manufacturer Training at no cost to you as you continue your career path to Master Tech.

Relocation: If you are relocating to Louisiana and are the right fit for Volkswagen of Mandeville relocation costs can be discussed including toolbox relocation.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and required documentation.

Qualifications

• Volkswagen or Audi experience (will consider another brand with good employment history on your resume)
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• Must have own tools

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 to $45.00 per flat rate hour based upon experience plus production bonuses
