We are looking for a Textile Operative to work across our production department, with the potential to operate drawing, warping and weaving machines. · Carry out routine machine adjustments where trained.

· Clean machinery and the work area, and report maintenance issues promptly.

· Follow health and safety, housekeeping, production and quality procedures at all times.

What we are looking for

· Good attention to detail and a practical, methodical approach.

· Excellent manual dexterity to perform tasks with various yarns including knotting.

· You should be physically fit as this role involves being on your feet all day and includes some manual handling.

· Confidence to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Confidence working with production machinery and following written instructions.

· Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to complete production records.

· Ability to remain focused while monitoring one or more machines.

· Flexibility to learn and work across drawing, warping and weaving processes as required.

· Dependability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safe working.

· Previous experience in textiles, manufacturing or machine operation is desirable, but full training can be provided (additional apprenticeship scheme available).

· Full training and ongoing support.

· Textile Apprenticeship run on-site by Textile Centre of Excellence, Huddersfield.

· A safe, supportive and team-focused working environment.

· Opportunities to develop your textile production and machine-operating skills.

· Free on-site parking, holiday allowance of 21 days plus bank holidays, PPE and workwear provided, staff discount.
