Job Summary

An expanding Vehicle Transport Logistics company based in Wolverhampton is currently recruiting for Experienced Drivers.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

The successful candidate will be an experienced driver and aged 25+ to meet our insurance requirements. You will have full UK manual driving license with no more than six points.

You must have proven driving experience of vehicle collection and delivery and will be working on a self employed basis. You will be required to work independently as well as part of a professional team of drivers. You must have good customer skills with a positive working attitude.

The job role requires you to work Monday to Friday with an immediate start, working on an on-going basis.

Applicants will be responsible for carrying out a detailed vehicle inspection on collection, then delivering the vehicle on to the customer. Vehicle collections and deliveries will be all over the UK which gives you a great opportunity to travel the country and meet new people. All vehicle inspections are carried out on company paperwork or handheld devices.

Some expenses are paid or contributed towards.

Previous driving experience of vehicle collection and delivery is essential.

Uniform will be provided after a four week probationary period.

Duties

• Safely drive vehicles to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate delivery pods and records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with car and van driving is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes as required.
