What they need
We are recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to work for our sister company MM Freight in Telford.
Experience planning a large fleet of trucks in Europe would be advantageous.
The Role:
- Plan and manage European road feight exports ene-to-end
- Book export shipmenst and receipts
- Negotiate rates with companies
- Liase with network partners
- Handle UK customs requirements
- Maintain accurate system data
- Work on own intiative and also as part of a close team, reporting directly to the European Planning Manager.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years transport planning expereince and be able to supply references.
Working pattern would be:-
Mon - Fri 08.00am to 18.00pm, working alternative Saturdays. But flexibility would be required to suit the nedds of the business.
Salary would be dependant on experience and discussed at interview.
