Experienced Veterinary Assistant

Meridian Veterinary Services is an independently owned, integrative clinic in Silver Spring, MD. We are focused on holistic and general veterinary medicine. Our clinic is located right off the Beltway. We serve the greater Washington, DC area. At our clinic you will enjoy working with appreciative, holistic minded clients in a major metropolitan region. Are you an experienced veterinary assistant who would like to grow into a leadership role? Meridian Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant who is looking to expand their professional development.

This role includes:

• Assisting with coordinating and managing inventory
• Aiding in the development of a strong and dedicated veterinary team
• Exercise detail-oriented multitasking
• Client services including answering questions, concerns, and education. We strive to not only educate and empower our staff but our clients as well.

Salary: $20-30/hour negotiable depending on experience and duties. Benefits: health insurance subsidy and CE.

• 3+ years in veterinary medicine
• Competency and flexibility in verbal and written communications
