Laurel Springs Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice in South Forsyth County. We’re looking for an experienced team member who can step in, contribute from day one, and become an important part of our practice.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced veterinary professional who:

• Has at least 2 years of hands-on veterinary experience
• Is confident handling dogs and cats in a clinical setting
• Is comfortable working independently and anticipating what the doctor and team need
• Has strong technical and patient-care skills
• Is dependable, organized, and able to stay calm and focused in a busy environment
• Takes pride in accurate, thorough work
• Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
• Communicates professionally and confidently with clients
• Understands that excellent veterinary care includes both patient care and client service
• Wants to find a practice where their experience is valued and appreciated

Your Experience Matters Here

You’ll have the opportunity to use and continue developing your veterinary skills while working alongside an experienced, supportive team.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Drawing blood and placing IV catheters
• Performing laboratory diagnostics
• Taking and processing digital radiographs
• Preparing and processing laboratory samples
• Providing nursing care and monitoring patients
• Safely handling and restraining patients
• Performing routine procedures such as nail trims and anal gland expressions
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Helping maintain an organized, efficient treatment area
• Communicating with clients regarding patient care and treatment
• Recognizing what needs to be done and stepping in without always needing to be asked

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: Commensurate with your experience and skill level.

We recognize that experience matters. Compensation will be considered based on your veterinary background, technical abilities, and what you bring to the team.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8:15 AM–5:30 PM
Lunch: 12:30–1:30 PM

Saturday: 8:15 AM–12:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Ability to safely lift and handle patients
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced small animal practice
• Drug screening and background check required
