What We’re Looking For:

We're seeking a Veterinary Assistant with at least one year of experience who is confident, compassionate, and committed to patient care. Strong communication skills and a desire to continue learning are essential. Experience with IDEXX Cornerstone software is a huge plus but not required.

Required Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• General veterinary knowledge (vaccines, heartworm, flea/tick prevention)
• Medication dispensing and administration
• Surgical support: prep, monitoring, and recovery
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs preferred
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time: 38-40 hours/week
• Schedule: 4 day shifts per week 7am-6pm
• No weekends

Benefits:

• $150 uniform allowance every 6 months (for full-time employees)
• Employee discount after 90 days
• Veterinary care allowance after 90 days

Requirements:

• Veterinary experience: Minimum 1 year (Required)
• Location: Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Greensboro, NC 27410
• All candidates are subject to a background check prior to employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
