Experienced Veterinary Assistant / Technician

Experienced Veterinary Assistant

The Cardiff Animal Hospital is looking to add some fun, energetic, & experienced Veterinary Technicians and Assistants to our crew.

Who are we:

Our hospital is a privately owned practice located across the street from Cardiff State Beach. We are an AAHA Accredited, Certified Feline Friendly Practice, with a team of Fear Free Professionals.

We are a full-service animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and unparalleled customer service. It is our desire to earn client trust and confidence by providing individually crafted medial treatment plans tailored to the needs of our patients, and the goals of our clients.

To further provide our clients with the best experience possible, we have taken extra care to create an environment that is both warm and inviting and want to ensure that their visit is as pleasant as possible.

We are looking for the right individuals who can help us fulfill our Core Focus, and who share our Core Values (Community, Leadership, Excellence, Accountability, and Respect). We look to these Core Values to provide a collaborative atmosphere, where everybody has a voice!

Our hospital:

We are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment tools. We have a complete in-house Idexx laboratory, digital radiology (both general and dental), high quality ultrasound, endoscopy, therapeutic k-laser, stem cell therapy, 5-parameter anesthetic monitoring equipment, and more! Enjoy surgery? We do it all! From spays and neuters, to laparoscopic spays and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures (including 4 to 6 TPLOs a week).

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for experienced Veterinary Technicians and/or Assistants to join our team. A minimum of 1 to 3 years experience is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, great work ethic, and enjoy working with a team. They must be comfortable with, or interested in, learning all aspects of veterinary care, from client services to nursing skills. We are willing to train the right person!

Commitment:

Being a Veterinary Assistant requires much more than credentials. It means bringing your talents, skills, dedication, and a desire for developing alongside your peers (this is a critical to being a valued team member in our hospital). It also means showing up each day with a passion for pets and working with clients to help their pets achieve long and healthy lives.
