We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative who is compassionate, organized, confident in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about helping pet owners make informed healthcare decisions for their pets.

What You'll Do

Client Care & Communication

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and through electronic communication
• Create positive client experiences while handling concerns professionally and empathetically
• Educate clients regarding wellness care, vaccines, diagnostics, dental care, and recommended follow-up visits
• Help clients understand treatment plans, estimates, and hospital policies

Scheduling & Practice Growth

• Schedule appointments strategically to maximize efficiency and patient care
• Promote preventive healthcare visits, dental procedures, diagnostics, and follow-up appointments
• Assist in managing appointment flow and identifying scheduling opportunities
• Help maintain provider schedules while ensuring excellent patient care

Administrative Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out accurately
• Process payments and review invoices with clients
• Maintain accurate patient and client records
• Manage prescription refill requests and medical record requests
• Support inventory, office organization, and daily operational tasks as needed
• Process transactions for the rescue market

Team Support

• Communicate effectively with doctors and technicians regarding client concerns and patient needs
• Assist in maintaining a smooth daily workflow
• Support hospital goals through teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of veterinary CSR experience
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Experience working in a veterinary hospital environment
• Excellent phone, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to remain professional and compassionate during difficult conversations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant or technician experience
• Experience discussing estimates and treatment recommendations with clients
• Experience with electronic medical records and veterinary software
• Experience with Shepherd Vet software
• Strong understanding of preventive medicine and client education

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• Typical shift: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• One-hour lunch break
• No weekends currently
