Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a veterinary technician
• High school diploma
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and critical care procedures
• Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures (e.g., collect samples, draw blood, and administer vaccines, perform xrays)
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and supporting surgical and dental procedures, including dental xrays
• Ability to handle various animal species safely, exotics experience a plus
• Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion
• Excellent communication skills

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
