SoCal Pet Vets is a rapidly growing, modern, privately owned veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

We provide high-quality wellness, medical, surgical, dental, and urgent care services while maintaining a supportive, positive, and team-oriented culture.

As our hospital continues to grow, we are looking for individuals who not only enjoy caring for pets, but also enjoy helping build a stronger practice through teamwork, initiative, accountability, and excellent client care.

Responsibilities Include

• Patient restraint and handling
• Blood collection and laboratory sample preparation
• IV catheter placement
• Surgical and dental assistance
• Anesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
• Radiology assistance
• Client communication and education
• Medical record documentation
• Hospital cleanliness and organization
• Supporting patient care and hospital workflow wherever needed

Requirements

• Previous veterinary experience required
• Ability to draw blood samples
• Ability to place IV catheters
• Ability to monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
• Strong patient care and client communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Saturday availability is required
