Experienced Warehouse Associate / Deep Reach Forklift Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Deep Reach Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This position will primarily focus on operating a deep-reach forklift, maintaining accurate inventory, rotating stock, and ensuring products are properly received, stored, picked, and transferred throughout the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has strong forklift experience, excellent inventory management skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory rotation, and location accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a deep-reach forklift safely and efficiently to move, store, and retrieve inventory in high-rack warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure proper stock rotation.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify product quantities, item numbers, and inventory accuracy.
• Put away received inventory in the correct warehouse locations.
• Pick and put away materials for production work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Process and fulfill warehouse transfer orders between designated inventory locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and promptly report discrepancies, damaged products, or missing inventory.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Work closely with warehouse leadership and other departments to ensure inventory is available when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Proven experience operating a deep-reach forklift in a high-rack warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory rotation, receiving, putaway, and order picking.
• Experience with work orders, inventory transfers, and warehouse location systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems or ERP inventory software is preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to meet company forklift training and certification requirements.

We need someone who takes ownership of inventory and understands that accurate product placement, proper rotation, and reliable warehouse transactions are critical to daily operations. This is a hands-on position for an experienced operator who can work independently, operate equipment safely, and keep inventory moving efficiently.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
