Experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Mustang Expediting, Inc. is a veteran-owned transportation and logistics company located in Aston, PA. Established in 1982, we provide transportation and warehousing services to commercial, healthcare, and government customers.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team.

This is NOT an entry-level warehouse position. Applicants must have significant professional warehouse and forklift experience. We are looking for someone who can safely and confidently operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, handle freight, and maintain accurate inventory with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Load and unload tractor-trailers and straight trucks
• Receive, stage, pick, and prepare freight for shipment
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and freight condition
• Scan and accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory
• Properly palletize and secure freight
• Identify and report damage, shortages, or inventory discrepancies
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control
• Perform daily forklift/equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
• Follow all warehouse and safety procedures
• Work effectively with drivers, operations staff, customers, and vendors

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional warehouse experience preferred
• 5+ years of regular forklift operating experience strongly preferred
• Experience loading and unloading commercial trucks and trailers
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Experience using scanners or warehouse inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to perform the physical duties of an active warehouse position, including lifting and moving heavy materials with appropriate assistance or equipment

Forklift certification is preferred, but demonstrated professional forklift experience is more important.

Pre-Employment Requirements

This is a safety-sensitive position involving forklifts, material-handling equipment, trucks, and customer freight.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss their previous warehouse experience, the types of forklifts they have operated, and the freight they have handled.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
